Walk in Chillers

North London Appliances' Modular Coldrooms are designed to ensure years of fault-free operation at the highest levels of thermal efficiency. For our full list of Standard Stock Sizes please see the Info Area for our downloadable cold room brochure.

Panels

Our Coldrooms incorporate 80mm thick polyurethane Envirofoam Sustain injected panels as standard, with white food-safe steel skins. The standard panel widths are 1200mm with an external height of 2300mm. Other heights available on request.

Surface Finish

120 Microns, Non-Toxic Foodsafe, Polymer Film, Chemically inert and safe for continuous contact with unpacked foodstuff. Standard Colour: white, other surface finishes available upon request.

Cam-Lock System

Our panels have a concealed Cam-Lock arrangement which enables total flexibility in that the room can be disassembled, moved, modified or extended when required.

Envirofoam Sustain

All of our manufactured panels are made using Envirofoam Sustain which is an environmentally friendly foam insulation based around rapeseed oils rather than petrochemicals.

The unique attributes of Envirofoam Sustain are:

• Zero Ozone Depletion Potential
• Polymer derived from renewable vegetable oil
• Blowing agent Global Warming Potential (GWP) of “less than 1”.
• Very low thermal conductivity

Doors

Standard size of 750mm x 1920mm clear opening incorporating door furniture and a lockable handle with internal safety release. Alternative door sizes and a full range of door furniture available upon request. All doors include a heavy duty protective aluminium surround to the door blade.

Floor Finish

All Coldrooms are available in floorless or floored options with the standard floored finish of 5-Bar Aluminium Chequer Plate supplied on a 9mm ply sub-base.  Other floor finishes available include: Texel 2 - 18 Gauge, Rigidised Galvanised Steel and 14 Gauge Galvanised Steel.

Our Coldroom Floor Panels also use the same unique Cam-Lock System as our Coldroom Wall and Ceiling Panels.

Refrigeration

The Coldrooms can be supplied with or without a refrigeration unit and should this be required we would supply a Rivacold Monoblock. These refrigeration units are designed to operate at up to 35°C ambient, with internal room temperatures down to -20°C. Each unit comes with a 12 Months parts only warranty included as standard.

Please note that we do not include connection or commissioning of refrigeration units as standard.
