Miele H5240bp. At the start of the cleaning process this f31 error message appeared and I cannot open the door. I have tried to restart and disconnected the mains. It still won't open.
Miele f31 door locked. I realised that I couldn't remove the oven to take it for repair. So I thought there has to be a way of opening the door to remove the screws that hold it in place so the technition could take it away. Where the lock mechanism is located at the top centre of the door you can see a small flap next to the lugg that drops down, a few wiggles and the latch released. Bingo. Door open. Started the cleaning process again and it seems fine. However I'm still going to get it checked out.
