E0
Freezer thermistor failure
- Issue:
- Compressor and freezer fan run continuously. Freezer bar-graph display will be off.
- Advice:
- Displayed if measured sensor value is open circuit or short circuit
- Resets if the sensor value is correct (not open or short) error is omitted
- Check wiring
- Replace sensor
- Check control module

Freezer defrost sensor failure
- Issue:
- Defrost heater will be switched on for 25 minutes during normal defrost.
- Advice:
- Check wiring
- Replace sensor
- Check control module
E3
Fridge thermistor or sensor failure
- Issue:
- Baffle should be opened for 3 minutes and closed for 7 minutes. Fridge bar-graph display will be off. Sensor value is incorrect either open or short.
- Advice:
- Check wiring
- Replace sensor
- Replace control module
E4
Defrost heater failure
- Issue:
- If defrost time is equal to the maximum defrost time of 60min. for 3 consecutive defrosts this error is shown. Control runs defrost heater normally.
- Advice:
- Check wiring
- Check defrost heater for continuity
- Check module
E8
Icemaker or ice thermistor sensor failure
- Issue:
- Displayed if the module measures the sensor value as open circuit or short circuit. The ice maker will not operate.
- Advice:
- Check wiring
- Check sensor
- Check module
E9
Ice machine failure
- Issue:
- If switch does not change as described during initialisation or, while rotating ice machine, if switch position does not change in 1 minute. The icemaker should not operate.
- Advice:
- Check wiring
- Check icemaker unit
