Bertazzoni is an upmarket Italian cooker manufacturer which has been in existence for almost 100 years and remains today a family owned business.

The company is based in Guastalla near Parma in the region of Emilia Romagna, Italy.

Bertazzoni make a wide range of freestanding range cookers as well as a line of built in ovens, hobs and hobs but they are rarely seen in the UK as they are most certainly not mass market applainces.

The appliances look good and appear to be of a very high quality which will almost certianly mean, not cheap.

Bertazzoni do appear to make great efforts to ensure that their appliances perform really well and certanly the impression that you get from their information is that the company really cares about the products and their performance.

Interestingly there is, on a few models, the availability of a hybrid oven offering the choice of using either gas or electric heating in the oven cavity which is a unique feature that we have not come across before.

We strongly suspect but, cannot prove, that Bertazzoni are making range cookers for many of the more obscure range cooker brands that have popped up in recent years.
