Fill Fault

Issue:
1- Turn the DishDrawer® water supply on. 2- Ensure the spray arm can rotate about the center, and if the DishDrawer® is full of water, it will need to be emptied manually. 3- Call your Authorized Service Center.

E:01 to E:30

A technical fault has probablyoccurred.

Issue:
If an error code (E:01 to E:30) is indicated on the digital display, always disconnect the appliance from the power supply and then turn off the tap. You can rectify certain faults yourself, for all other faults please contact customer service and state the indicated fault E:XX. Switch off appliances with the ON/OFF switch. After a short time restart the appliance. If the problem recurs, turn off the tap and pullout the mains plug. Call customer service and mention the errorcode.

Supply hose kinked. Tap turned off. Tap jammed or calcified. Filter in the water supply blocked.
Advice:
Install supply hose without kinks. Turn on the tap. Turn on the tap.Flow rate must be min. 10 l/min. when watersupply is open. Switch off the appliance and pull out themains plug. Turn off the tap. Unscrew water connection. Clean filter in the supply hose. Screw water connection on again. Check for leaks. Reconnect power supply. Switch on the appliance.

Issue:
Close the door. Ensure that no objects (uten-sil, fragrance dispenser) are protruding overthe basket and preventing the door from closing.

Food Soils Left on Dishes•

Issue:
Choose another cycle for longer washingtime. Check rack loading section for properloading—avoid nesting items. Home water pressure may be too low—should be 20 to 120 pounds per square inch(psi). Check incoming water temperature. Itshould be at least 120°F (49°C). (SeeFactors Affecting Performance.) Check water hardness. For extremely hardwater, it may be necessary to install a watersoftener. (See Detergent Chart.) Use fresh detergent. Check to make sure funnel in top rack is notblocked. Make sure items are not blocking the sprayarms, preventing them from rotating.• Check to see if the rinse aid dispenserneeds refilling.

Dishes not Dry

Issue:
Select Hot Dry option. Make sure the rinse aid dispenser is filled. Increase the amount of rinse aid. (SeeRinse Aid.) Check the incoming water temperature. Besure it is at least 120°F (49°C). Check for proper loading—avoid nestingitems. Plastic items may need to be towel dried. Cups with a concave bottom will collectwater.
Advice:

Glassware/Flatware Spotted or Cloudy

Issue:
Check water hardness. For extremely hardwater, it may be necessary to install a watersoftener. (See Detergent Chart.) Water temperature may be low. Avoidextremely low or high temperatures. (SeeFactors Affecting Performance.) Avoid overloading and improper loading.(See Preparing and Loading Dishes.) Use fresh detergent. Old detergent isineffective. Make sure rinse aid dispenser is filled. Check to see that proper amount ofdetergent is being used for cycle selected.Also, check phosphate level. (SeeDetergent Dispenser.) Home water pressure may be too low—itshould be 20 to 120 pounds per square inch(psi).

Dishware Chipped

Issue:
Load with care and do not overload. (SeePreparing and Loading dishes.) Place delicate items in top rack.• Place glasses securely against pins and notover pins. Load items so they are secure and don't jarloose when moving racks in and out. Moveracks in and out slowly. Make sure tall glasses and stemware willclear top of tub when rack is pushed in. Fine antique china and crystal should behand-washed.
Advice:

Dishware Stained or Discolored

Issue:
Tea and coffee can stain cups. Remove thestains by hand washing in a solution of 1/2cup (120 ml) bleach and one quart (1 L) ofwarm water. Rinse thoroughly. Iron deposits in water can cause a yellow orbrown film. A special filter installed in thewater supply line will correct this problem.(See Removing Spots and Film.) Aluminum utensils can leave gray/blackmarks when they rub against other items.Load properly. Certain high acid foods can causediscoloration of stainless steel and plasticsif allowed to sit for a long period. Use theRinse/Hold cycle or rinse by hand if notoperating dishwasher at once. Mixing stainless steel and silver utensils insilverware basket can cause pitting of thestainless steel blades. Avoid mixingstainless steel and silver.
Advice:

Etching

Issue:
Using too much detergent in soft orsoftened water causes this film that cannotbe removed. Adjust the amount of detergent based onthe water hardness. (Check DetergentChart.) Lower the water temperature. Use the Cool Dry option.
Advice:

Detergent Left in Cups

Issue:
Detergent may be old. Discard and use freshdetergent. Be sure water action can reach the dispenser. Check to see if cycle has been completed. Make sure items do not prevent thedetergent dispenser from opening.
Advice:

Dishwasher Leaks

Issue:
Use only fresh detergent designed forautomatic dishwashers. Measure detergentcarefully. Try a different brand. Spilled rinse aid can cause foam and lead tooverflowing. Wipe up any spills with a dampcloth.•Check to see that dishwasher is level.
Advice:

Normal Sounds You Will Hear

Issue:
Normal sounds include water fill, watercirculation and motor sounds. There is a noticeable change in sound whenthe wash action switches between the lowerand middle spray arm. This is normal sinceeach spray arm has its own sound. It is normal for dishwasher to pause (nosound) when the wash action is switchingbetween the lower and middle spray arms.
Advice:

Water in Bottom of Tub

Issue:
Water left in bottom of tub after cycle iscomplete is not normal. If water remains inthe bottom of the tub, dishwasher may notbe draining properly.
Advice:

Vapor at Vent

Issue:
Water vapor escapes from the vent when thedishwasher goes into the drying part ofcycle. This is normal.
Advice:

Dishwasher Won't Run

Issue:
Check to see if circuit breaker is tripped or if afuse is blown. Make sure water supply is turned on. Check to see if cycle is set correctly. (See Operating Instructions.) Is dishwasher set for delay start option? Make sure door is closed and latched.
Advice:

Dishwasher Does Not Drain Properly

Issue:
If unit is hooked up to a food waste disposer,make sure the disposer is empty. heck to see if the knockout plug has beenremoved from inside the food waste disposerinlet. Check to see if drain hose is kinked. Make sure cycle is complete, not in a pause.
Advice:

Cycle Takes a Long Time

Issue:
Is cycle in a water heating delay? Has the delay start option been selected?
Advice:

Dishwasher Won't Fill

Issue:
Is water supply turned on? Does overfill protector move up and downfreely?
Advice:

Dishwasher Has an Odor

Issue:
Soiled dishes left in dishwasher too long cancreate an odor. Use Rinse/Hold cycle. There will be a "new" smell when firstinstalled. This is normal.• Check to see if unit is draining properly.
Advice:

Stains on Tub Interior

Issue:
Washing large amounts of dishware withtomato based soil can cause a pink/orange appearance. This will not affect performanceand will gradually fade over time. Pre-rinsingor using the Rinse/Hold cycle will reduce thechance of staining. Using Cool Dry optionwill lessen staining.
Advice:

Removing Spots and Film

Issue:
Hard water can cause lime deposit buildup onthe interior of the dishwasher. Dishes andglasses may also get spots and film for anumber of reasons. (See Glassware/FlatwareSpotted or Cloudy section.) To remove buildup,spots and film, clean using the following instructions: 1. Load clean dishes and glasses in normalmanner. Do not load any metal utensils orsilverware. 2. Do not add detergent. 3. Select the POTS & PANS or HEAVYWASH cycle. Close and latch door to start. 4. Allow dishwasher to run for 25 minutes toreach the main wash portion of cycle. 5. Unlatch and open door and pour 2 cups ofwhite vinegar into the bottom ofdishwasher. 6. Close and latch door and allow the cycle tofinish.
Advice:

"Check water supply" displaylights up.

Issue:
