Error codes for Bosch fridge

Flashes on fridge display - Temperature sensor malfunction

Issue:
The fridge will operate on ten minutes on, ten minutes off is this error code is displayed.

Flashes on the freezer display - Temperature sensor malfunction

Issue:
If this error code is displayed the compressor will run continuously and the error relates to the freezer air sensor. The Freezer evaporator sensor controls the fridge freezer defrost cycle which runs for eighteen minutes once in every twenty four hour period.

Temperature differs greatly from the set value.

Issue:
Advice:
In some cases it is adequate to switch off the appliance for 5 minutes. If the temperature is too high wait a few hours and check whether the temperature has approached the set value. If the temperature is too low check the temperature again the next day.

Displays do not illuminate.

Issue:
Power failure; the fuse has been switched off; the mains plug has not been inserted properly.
Advice:
Connect mains plug. Check whether the power is on, check the fuses.

The light does not function.

Issue:
The LED light is defective. / Appliance was open too long. Light is switched off after approx. 10 min.
Advice:

Bottom of the refrigerator compartment is wet.

Issue:
The condensation channel or drainage hole are blocked.
Advice:
Clean the condensation channel and the drainage hole.

The temperature in the refrigerator compartment is too cold.

Issue:
Temperature has been set too low.
Advice:
Increase the temperature.

The refrigerating unit is switching on more frequently and for longer.

Issue:
Appliance opened frequently. The ventilation openings have been covered.
Advice:
Do not open the appliance unnecessarily. Remove obstacles.

Appliance is not cooling, temperature display and light are lit.

Issue:
Showroom mode is switched on.
Advice:
Hold down alarm button, for 10 seconds until an acknowledgement signal sounds. After a short time check whether your appliance is cooling.
